Resize image

Node catalog Transformations
On this page

Resize using a configurable fit mode.

Usage and specifics

Supply the source image and operation settings. Dimensions and coordinates use pixels. Inspect the returned format, dimensions and MIME type before storing or sending.

Technical type : resize_image. Runtime : nodulz.

Credentials and prerequisites

This node defines no dedicated external credential. Remote sources or execution targets may still need their own access credentials.

See the credentials guide if a remote source or execution target requires access.

Parameters

Names below are technical keys. Defaults are not a ready-to-run configuration: complete fields required by your operation. Paths containing [] describe list items; some fields depend on the selected mode.

Parameter Type Default Values / limits
input string "" -
width number 800 -; ≥ 1, ≤ 8192
height number 600 -; ≥ 1, ≤ 8192
fit enum "inside" inside, cover, contain, fill
withoutEnlargement boolean false -
background string "#00000000" -

Configuration help

input
Source image
HTTP(S) URL, base64, data URL or full image node output. EXIF orientation is applied before processing. Only the first frame of animated images is processed.
withoutEnlargement
Do not enlarge
Prevent enlarging images smaller than the target dimensions.

Initial configuration

Initial catalog configuration example, to adapt before running. Keep secrets in credentials.

json
{
  "input": "",
  "width": 800,
  "height": 600,
  "fit": "inside",
  "withoutEnlargement": false,
  "background": "#00000000"
}

Verification

Test with representative data. Check node output in the inspector and logs, then use editor mapping for downstream fields. A trigger test with a simulated payload does not validate external service delivery.
