# Send Email - Workflow node | Docs - nodulz

Source: https://nodulz.com/docs/nodes/email

Language: en

Queues an email via SMTP. Addresses, subject and body support expressions. Use the visual mail builder or edit HTML/CSS directly.

## Usage and specifics

Select an SMTP credential. Build the body visually or with HTML/CSS. Addresses and subject accept expressions; the schema limits attachments to 10.

Technical type : `email`. Runtime : `nodulz`.

## Credentials and prerequisites

- [Create and configure the credential : smtp](/docs/credentials/smtp)

Create credentials in your nodulz instance’s Credentials area, then select them on the node. Availability depends on ownership and sharing. See the [credentials guide](/docs/credentials) for access and rotation.

## Examples

- To: {{ input.email }}
- Subject: Order {{ input.orderId }} confirmed
- Mail builder: drag blocks or input fields, insert merge tags, then Apply.
- Body: design in the mail builder, or HTML with {{ input.name }}.

## Initial configuration

Initial catalog configuration example, to adapt before running. Keep secrets in credentials.

```json
{
  "to": "",
  "subject": "",
  "body": "",
  "bodyCss": "",
  "bodySource": "html",
  "bodyBuilderProject": ""
}
```

## Verification

Test with representative data. Check node output in the inspector and logs, then use editor mapping for downstream fields. A trigger test with a simulated payload does not validate external service delivery.
