# Dropbox - Workflow node | Docs - nodulz

Source: https://nodulz.com/docs/nodes/dropbox

Language: en

List, upload, download and organize Dropbox files.

## Usage and specifics

Select Dropbox and use a path starting with /, or an empty string for the root. Continue listings with cursor. Check destinationPath before moving, copying or deleting; encoding determines the transferred content format.

Technical type : `dropbox`. Runtime : `nodulz`.

## Credentials and prerequisites

- [Dropbox](/docs/credentials) (`integration` / `dropbox`). Dropbox access token for files and folders.

Create credentials in your nodulz instance’s Credentials area, then select them on the node. Availability depends on ownership and sharing. See the [credentials guide](/docs/credentials) for access and rotation.

## Parameters

Names below are technical keys. Defaults are not a ready-to-run configuration: complete fields required by your operation. Paths containing [] describe list items; some fields depend on the selected mode.

| Parameter | Type | Default | Values / limits |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `credentialId` | `string` | `""` | - |
| `operation` | `enum` | `"list_files"` | `list_files`, `get_file`, `upload_file`, `download_file`, `create_folder`, `copy_file`, `move_file`, `delete_file` |
| `path` | `string` | `""` | - |
| `destinationPath` | `string` | `""` | - |
| `cursor` | `string` | `""` | - |
| `limit` | `number` | `100` | -; ≥ 1, ≤ 2000 |
| `content` | `string` | `""` | - |
| `encoding` | `enum` | `"utf8"` | `utf8`, `base64` |

## Initial configuration

Initial catalog configuration example, to adapt before running. Keep secrets in credentials.

```json
{
  "credentialId": "",
  "operation": "list_files",
  "path": "",
  "destinationPath": "",
  "cursor": "",
  "limit": 100,
  "content": "",
  "encoding": "utf8"
}
```

## Verification

Test with representative data. Check node output in the inspector and logs, then use editor mapping for downstream fields. A trigger test with a simulated payload does not validate external service delivery.
