Language: en

Credential type in nodulz : `server:ssh_key / server:user_password`.

## Create access

Ask the administrator for a server account and SSH access. For key authentication, add the public key to the remote account’s authorized keys, then enter the private key and optional passphrase in nodulz.

## Configure in nodulz

In your instance, open Credentials, select the type above, name the credential and complete these fields:

```text
host, port, user, secret / password, passphrase
```

Save the credential, then select it on relevant nodes. URLs or parameters marked as node settings belong directly on that node.

## Things to check

> [!NOTE] Access from the execution target
>
> The server must be reachable from the execution target. The account needs permission to run commands or read and write the selected paths.

Verify an operation with expected permissions and data before publishing. Keep secrets out of logs and revoke them with the provider when no longer needed.
