# Amazon Bedrock - Credential setup | Docs - nodulz

Language: en

Credential type in nodulz : `ai:bedrock`.

## Create access

Create a Bedrock API key in the Bedrock console and grant required inference permissions. Choose a region and model compatible with the OpenAI endpoint. Store the API key, not an Access key ID / Secret access key pair.

## Configure in nodulz

In your instance, open Credentials, select the type above, name the credential and complete these fields:

```text
apiKey, baseUrl - regional endpoint /openai/v1
```

Save the credential, then select it on relevant nodes. URLs or parameters marked as node settings belong directly on that node.

## Things to check

The URL reflects connector configuration; adapt it to your endpoint. Suggested catalog models may be unavailable to your account. Multimodal and JSON support depend on provider and model.

Verify an operation with expected permissions and data before publishing. Keep secrets out of logs and revoke them with the provider when no longer needed.
